What makes up our clan?

Extreme Fusion Gaming is made up of lots of different ideas and assets. This helps us work as a cohesive multigaming clan without much worry about where we will need to play, or how we will talk to each other.

Chatter

A major part of any gaming group, as you can probably imagine, is general chatter, as I am calling it here. The pivotal cornerstone of our clan is our TeamSpeak 3 server, which acts as a VoIP platform that is extremely flexible and easily obtainable by all members without any hassle or cash.

Though for when a headset or microphone is not suitable in an environment, such as work or away from your computer; a vital backbone to the clan is our site. Members post on the forums on a daily basis; threads ranging from forum games, game videos, music videos to tactical discussions regarding how to best assault a map in a game. There are also an array of other handy resources such as the Clan Blog and the Event Calender which are great for keeping track of day-to-day clan business if you miss anything.

Mature, but casual gaming environment

One of the major aspects of our clan's philosophy is our mature gaming environment. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have built our clan from the ground up with a set of rules that fit the clan well and are often under consideration for improvement and modifications by both leaders and members of the clan. This enables us to construct and sustain a fair playing environment in which normal annoyances are kept to a minimum and are dealt with in a mature and structured fashion across every aspect of the clan, whether in a forum thread, a TeamSpeak channel, or one of our game servers.

We also understand the importance of sustaining a mature and open connection between clan leadership and members, making sure that people know they have the right to have their voice be heard and for their issues to be resolved with fair assistance.

Although it is quite clear that games are what drives an organization such as our own, we like to encourage our players to join us for the community of like-minded gamers that we provide, rather than just the games that we play.

What are a member's responsibilities?

Because we pride ourselves on being both a mature and casual gaming clan, we don't really have any horrible or tedious rules which many other clans like to impose on their members.

All we ask is that members try to follow a few guidelines which help to keep our clan running in a structured manner. We try to make our members aware that equal retaliation to trolling or idiocy in the gaming world often leads to more problems for those that wish to pursue such a doctrine. We also try our best to encourage members to visit our own servers when the situation is both logical and practical to do so, in order for us to play in an environment that is comfortable for us.

Moreover, we actively encourage all members to take a keen interest in interacting with other members of the clan on a social level, rather simply from a gaming perspective. We're not just a bunch of gamers, we are also a group of friends, and those who subscribe to this philosophy gain the best gaming experience.

We prefer members to have headsets/microphones so that they are able to socialize and coordinate effectively with the other clan members.

Major games we play at the current time and plan to play in the future are Battlefield 3, Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, Sins of a Solar Empire, Team Fortress 2, APB: Reloaded, Firefall and Planetside 2.

What next?

A great way to learn more about the clan without being bound by any agreements is to get in contact with Bluecewe, the clan leader, on Steam. While you are here, you might also want to register on our site, here.

We would prefer making "first contact" with you on Steam, however if you don't have Steam you can visit our TeamSpeak 3 server, here, and see whether anybody is playing a game and see if you can join them. (If you don't have TeamSpeak 3, you can download it here)

If you find that you are not an active gamer, but still wish to be part of our community, you may be interested in becoming a Contact.

Contacts are essentially members of our community; the outer-shell, as it were, who aren't expected to be as active as full members, or to follow the same guidelines other than basic maturity and server rules. Contacts also have reserved slots and access to our TeamSpeak 3 server. If you are interested in this, still get in contact with us using the above methods, but feel free to slip in a Contact application form, here.
